Gains in Mathematics and Science is a summer program run by the Department of Defense's Army Educational Outreach Program. They provide summer hands-on modules at sites around the Washington, DC area running programs for middle and high school students. Last year, around 500 students attended the program from many nearby schools and even students from Kalamazoo, Michigan.
